Gallery Photo
The Car is the Star – Your Car’s Portrait.
Gallery Photos are ideal for photos of single cars, rather than amongst groups of cars.
What you will need :
- A favourite selected photo of your car
- A title for your Gallery Photo
- A few sentences to describe your photo – “more is good”
- Where the photo was taken
Check out the “what you’ll need” list and look through all your photos and find one of you car that is a particular favourite for you, your choice, maybe because of the location, when it was taken or there’s a story attached to that photo. If you can’t narrow down your choice of photos, not to worry, as you can create more Gallery Photos to share those special photos too.
Next, let’s get you to the right section
Select PHOTO GALLERY option from the main menu
Select View My Gallery Photos
Select Create a Gallery Photo
The left hand box, marked Add your Gallery Photo, is where you add your photo. To do this you click the box, upload your chosen photo and select it.
Consider the right hand side as if it were a form that you need to complete. Each field has a hint which tells you the information you need to add. Those fields with a red * are required fields that must be completed. It works best if you can add a few sentences in the Photo Description area, rather than simply “My car’s photo”, as it is nice tell others some background information (remember not everyone who sees the photo was there when it was taken so might not recognise its significance).
Once you have completed all the necessary information then it’s time to click the “Save” button. You are free to come back and edit this Gallery Photo any time you wish in the future, if you want to add to the description maybe.
Remember : if you have more special photos of your car you can create more Gallery Photos and share them with the Club’s members too. Try to keep them varied, as that’s what will keep the interest for anyone who is browsing through the Photo Gallery 🙂
