Event: Drive it Day – The Malt House Ripponden

The Drive It Day started from Middleton Masonic Hall, Manchester Old Road, Middleton.
Six cars and their passengers met at 11:00am in the warm bright sunshine, before setting off at 11:30am
We drove through Middleton and up onto the M60 motorway driving Eastbound before coming off at the Shaw turning. We then headed across country until we arrived at a country pub where we met up with two more cars from the Club.
We set off once again and arrive at The Malthouse in Rippendon at about 12:30 and were able to park all our cards together in a line.
We then settled down inside and all enjoyed some lovely Sunday Lunches, even being joined by an extra member of the Club who had called in for a coffee (with his E-type Jaguar).
After lunch 8 cars set off back towards Middleton along a different countryside route, eventually arriving at Hollingsworth Lake (which was busy), where we all went our separate ways
