There were 15 of our JEC Region’s Jaguars at the show, all grouped together around Steve Heywood’s gazebo.
The day started off overcast and chilly, mainly because there was a steady breeze, but after about 1pm the breeze dropped and the sun came out to make it a glorious afternoon.
The park was filled with cars of all makes, models and ages, and it was good to see so many of the public pay their £5 to charity to come and look around them all.
It was a shame towards the end of the day that many of the exhibitors chose to leave before the 4pm finish.
All in all a great day had by all.
Our Chairman, Pete Smith, had an added bonus on the day, with their two dogs coming 1st and 3rd in the dog show, and Pete was given the chance, along with his grandson, to lift the National League Trophy.
The Gazebo was the focal point for the day, enabling us to all sit around together chatting and being accessible to any of the viewing public who wandered by and took an interest in our cars and our Club.
