GM JEC Isle of Man Tour
Mullagh bog GM JEC er turrys Ellan Vannin

Following the successful visits to the Isle of Man in 2018 and 2019, I am again organising another tour there in 20223, from Friday 28th April to Monday 1st May (which may or may not be a UK Bank Holiday Monday).

There are plenty of places to visit on the island and some great roads to drive around, including the famous Isle of Man TT Circuit of public roads – with beautiful views.

Dates are :

  • Friday 28th April – Cross to the Island (afternoon)
  • Saturday 29th April – Day 1 of the Isle of Man Tour
  • Sunday 30th April – Day 2 of the Isle of Man Tour
  • Monday 1st May – Cross back to the mainland (afternoon)

A non refundable deposit of £80 will be required to secure your reservation (numbers on the tour are limited), with the balance due once Steam Packet crossing tickets become available. The full price of £750 is subject to change if Steam Packet and Comis Hotel amend their prices.

This 2023 Tour will again be based at the Comis Hotel & Golf Resort, near Douglas.

The proposed itinerary is subject to change (due to weather etc) and will be confirmed each day of the tour

Similar to our 2018 and 2019 visits, we are anticipating being joined on some of the Tours and group meals by members of the Isle of Man JEC and other Jaguar owners on the island.

Each day will again be split into two Tours, morning and afternoon, with a lunch venue in between. Tour members can therefore choose to miss one or other of the day’s tour, should they so wish, and still be able to rejoin the group at know locations throughout the day.

A few possibilities for places to visit and would be good to get pictures of the cars together.

The Sound, has a nice Cafe, overlooking the Calf of Man

The Lady Isabella (the largest working water wheel) also know as the Laxey Wheel. A couple of nice pubs just below the whee

Pit lane for the TT Race. The circuit for the Isle of Man TT Race is usually nearing completion around the time we visit the island, and driving around the course you get a good feel for what it might be like.
